I am really upset with the current state of America, and I also acknowledge that America has always been this way. This country was stolen from indigenous people, built on the backs of slaves, and rooted in white supremacy. I am not proud to be an American, but I am proud of my belief in human rights for all.
I believe that Black Lives Matter. Palestine should be free, and genocide is never justifiable. Queer and Trans Rights are Human Rights. Abortion and gender affirming healthcare saves lives. Women deserve autonomy. ICE should be abolished and the police should be defunded. There are no ethical billionaires. FDT, obviously.
If you disagree with any of the above, this isn't your space, and I'm okay with that. If I wanted to be forced to work with people I don't like, I'd have a stable salary job. ;)

I'm so fucking tired of blatant AI copy in emails and Instagram captions. It really bums me out seeing the brands and people I genuinely love turning into robots with no personality.
I believe AI has its place, but stripping us of our cute lil' human personalities isn't it.
So I've started using my email list the way I actually want to: Xanga-style brain dumps, visual art, things that inspire me, oracle card pulls. Absolutely no AI copy ever. Occasionally I'll promote my work, but that's not the point. You in?

About five years ago, one of those pulls led me to leave a secure marriage, move somewhere I knew nobody, and start asking what I actually want instead of what I think I'm supposed to want.
Through every hat I've worn since, the common threads have always been art, authentic individuality, and community. The communities that have made me feel most at home, most inspired, and the most myself have always been queer spaces, which is why I prioritize working with queer-focused and queer-friendly businesses and events.
I'm a Cancer Sun, Virgo Rising, Sagittarius Moon, which means I lead with feeling, show up organized, and secretly need a lot of independence. I love trashy reality TV, my three tuxedo cats, and drag queens. I'm the friend who will encourage you to chase your crazy dreams and will never shut up about the importance of nurturing your inner child.
